Kinetix Advanced

Kinetix Advanced is targeted to intermediate or advanced users of motion. Topics covered include programming advanced motion instructions such as MAG (gear), MAPC (position cam), MAR (registration), MRP (redefine position), MAOC (Output Cam) and others. Strong familiarity with Studio 5000, and moderate familiarity with motion, is assumed.

Hands-On Practice


Students will use a laptop to configure a Logix controller with Kinetix servos and motors. Approximately 1/2 of the class is lab.


Student Materials


All materials needed for this class will be supplied by Werner for both in-person classes and Online Live classes. Training workstation: laptop, GuardLogix controller with Kinetix 5700 drive and motor. Student Manual.
