The conduit is then coated with a low-friction organic polymer inside and out to resist corrosion and make feeding wires easier. Before leaving our facility, our EMT undergoes testing to ensure it bends easily without kinking, flattening, flaking or cracking. For use in concrete, underground, and wet/dry locations to protect wires from the environment. Steel EMT has superior protection. They are non-combustible, resiliant at any tempurature.
