| Learn what VFD cables are, why you should consider installing them as part of your VFD system, what system problems they address, how they reduce or prevent PLC problems, motor problems, cable failures and drive trips, and how they can help increase your energy savings. Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) cable is only effective if properly terminated. We will discuss the right and wrong way of terminating the VFD cable shield and grounds.

| Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) cable is only effective if properly terminated. Most electricians have never worked with a shielded power cable and are not trained in proper VFD cable termination. If not properly terminated, VFD cable loses much of its benefit. We will discuss the right and wrong ways of terminating the VFD cable shield and grounds.
