EtherNet/IP

The EtherNet/IP class reviews the fundamentals of EtherNet and the design and troubleshooting of industrial automation EtherNet/IP network in a Logix based control system with Stratix switches. The student will perform labs in setting up an IP network with unmanaged and managed switches, configuring smartports and DHCP, configuring and monitoring Device Level Ring (DLR), configuring VLAN’s, and Network Address Translation (NAT).

Hands-On Practice


Students will use a laptop to configure a Stratix 5700 switch, Logix controller, and I/O. Approximately 1/2 of the class is lab.

All materials needed for this class will be supplied by Werner for both in-person classes and Online Live classes. Training workstation: laptop, Stratix 5700, Point I/O, CompactLogix, PowerFlex 525. Student Manual.
